I do research at the intersection of electromagnetics and materials science. Much of the work concerns propagation of ultrashort optical pulses through complex materials like chiral sculptured thin films. I am also doing working on designing electromagnic composite materials with enhanced properties (sometimes called metamaterials) and on improving optical coherence tomography (OCT).
